Our invitation at every communion service to everyone, especially the children, are invited to come forward to the altar for a blessing. In accordance with the Word of God, Lutherans proclaim that the bread and wine are also truly the body and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, given to us for salvation. All Confirmed Christians are invited to partake of Communion.
